Release Notes

This release adds some cool features, and resolves a critical vulnerability that can let the user delete arbitrary characters in TransformTool's output.

  • Base 2 encoding/decoding.
  • Base 10 (decimal) encoding/decoding
The base 2 encoding will show you the bit pattern for bytes, or parse strings containing bit patterns. Now you can easily show your family what numbers look like inside computers! The base 10, or decimal, encoding will convert a byte to a decimal number (0-255). You can also parse numbers to bytes.

Bug fix:
  • Delete key lets you delete stuff on output nodes
Limited attacks have been spotted in the wild for the "delete key" vulnerability. For your safety, and the integrity of TransformTool's output, we urge you to upgrade sooner rather than later. As a temporary workaround, you can lay off the delete key until you have a chance to upgrade.
